We’d love to invite you into our 9-acre family garden for some sketching fun. This free sketch club is designed to help local artists unleash their creativity through playful sketching, surrounded by inspiring nature.

On 12th September we’ll explore an area of our historic Gossington Hall garden, where you’ll be accompanied by Caroline and / or Emma. We’ll draw our sketching inspiration from the vast nature around us. Our two small, friendly dogs may decide to join us.

If it rains, we’ll work in The Cotswold Gardening School building on site, where you’ll be provided with images of the garden as well as collected specimens, for your artistic inspiration.

Please bring your favourite sketching equipment with you, as materials are not provided. However, teas and coffee are!

This exciting social event will take place from 6pm-8pm. From 6pm-6:15pm tea and coffee will be served, helping to set a calm mood for the rest of the session. Please arrive no later than 6:15pm.

Both Caroline and Emma will be on-hand for encouragement and sketching advice. However, neither Caroline nor Emma will be teaching. Lectures are not a part of this event. The sketch club is simply a space for you to feel supported, relaxed and inspired to create beautiful artworks.

In between sessions, you can post artworks on our online Facebook Group ‘Creative Space’, where you can receive positive comments from Caroline. You’re also welcome to post any unfinished sketches from sketch club sessions, within the group.

This judgment-free sketch club is the perfect place for like-minded artists to connect. All levels of art experience are more than welcome to attend.

Each session, we’ll let you know where we plan to be within the garden for the upcoming sketch club.

Kindly remember to bring your own sketching equipment with you.
